A name. That is all I have for the father (and mother) of James Watters. According to his marriage certificate, James Watters was from Dungannon, County Tyrone in Ireland.

A search of Griffiths Valuation (one of Ireland’s census substitutes) fails to reveal a Samuel Watters. It does, however, have a record of a Robert Watters in the Doolargy Townland, Parish of Carnteel in the Barony of Dungannon Lower. This will be my next line of research for this family name.
